There are various commodities available for investment through the electronic spot market. Investors, who wish to hold the precious and other metals in electronic form, now can do so by investing in the e-series products. Investors can open online trading account with Indian Bullion Market Association Limited (IBMA) and trade in e-series and various other commodities.

Client Registration Process

Fill the Client Registration Form

Opening a Commodity Demat account (for E-Series):-

Clients will be required to give details of their existing commodities D-Mat A/c or open designated “Commodity D-Mat account” with any of the DP which are empanelled with NSEL. For the list of DP click on below link. DPs empanelled by the National Spot Exchange

Process

Clients will be required to submit the hard copy of the Client Registration Form, Certified copies of documents, Commodity D-Mat A/c details, Bank A/c details, a cheque of Rs. 100/- (payable at par & drawn in favour of ,Indian Bullion Market Association Ltd) towards the franking of the documents, and a margin cheque for the starting trading activities.
Clients will also submit one recent passport size photograph (to be pasted on Client Registration Form).
Client will send the complete set of documents to IBMA office.
After completion of this, the application form will be processed at the IBMA office and a Client ID (User Name) & Password will be issue to the Client by IBMA.
Clients will have to download & install the Odin Diet software utility on their computer (online support for software installation will be given by IBMA office).
Clients will have to deposit the margin money cheque with IBMA for starting the Trading Activities. Based on the margin available, the clients will be given limits for starting the trading.
